Rx advertising. Its main purpose is to persuade you into thinking health is only attainable through a pill.
In a society based on the consumption of desire and not need, we begin to expect our desires to be fulfilled solely through the market. This works only through a constant marketing barrage. The commercials frequently remain vague only to make you desire health, a better you. In doing so they of course imply this is only possible through a pill. That is their sole purpose, not to inform you of their medication, but to make you desire health through a medication.
